CZ P-10 C vs F vs S: Which Size Fits You
The P-10 is CZ's striker-fired line, and the suffix is the whole story: C for compact, F for full size, S for subcompact, SC for a compact slide on a full-size grip. All of them share the trigger, the fibre-reinforced polymer frame and the nitride finish. What changes is how much gun you carry.
P-10 C — the default
The compact is the one most people should start with: roughly a 4-inch barrel, 15+1 in 9mm, and a grip long enough for a full firing hold without printing through a shirt. It carries like a Glock 19-class pistol and shoots like something larger, which is why it is the version that sells.
P-10 F — duty and home
The full size adds barrel and grip. You gain sight radius, a little velocity and a softer push in recoil; you lose easy concealment under light clothing. If the pistol lives in a nightstand or a duty holster, this is the better buy.
P-10 S — deep carry
The subcompact shortens both slide and grip. It hides under almost anything and gives up capacity and control in exchange. Most shooters find it harder to shoot well — which is a fair trade only if the alternative is leaving the gun at home.
P-10 SC — the hybrid
Compact slide, full-size grip. It conceals nearly as well as the C while giving you the higher capacity and full hold of the F. If you carry outside the waistband under a jacket, it is worth the look.
Optics-ready and other letters
Models marked OR or with a suffix for optics ship with a cut slide and plates. If a red dot is anywhere in your plan, buy the cut version now — milling later costs more than the option did.
The short answer
Buy the C unless you have a reason not to. Move up to the F for a range or house gun, down to the S only if concealment beats shootability for you, and take the SC if you want both and dress around it.
